FOURTH OF JULY CHILDREN’S PARADE

JULY 4, 10:00 AM

Where: Start at New Kent/Prince Arthur roundabout; End at Riverside Drive/Prince Arthur intersection.

Kids, get the streamers out!

Everyone’s favorite summer celebration will return to the neighborhood this July 4. This parade is one of the most anticipated events in every neighborhood child’s summer. Kids are invited to decorate their bikes, scooters, wagons, strollers and anything with wheels in their finest July Fourth-inspired style and parade them down Prince Arthur from the New Kent roundabout to the T-stop on Riverside Drive.

At the end of the parade, kids and their grown-ups can enjoy a popsicle, or bag of popcorn, and have fun celebrating the holiday with their neighborhood buddies. Volunteers, please email Carrie Rogers at shawbelt@gmail.com. We will also need our loudest neighbors to cheer these kids on!

Please be aware, that Riverside Drive may not be closed for fireworks 4th of July evening, so vehicles may be trying to bypass the closed bridge. Please stay alert!
