Beautification Project – July 18 – Volunteers Needed!

Message for Robert Kelly, WHNA Beautification Chair:

We have a beautification project which our neighborhood desperately needs…and that’s to spruce up the areas along the Merchant’s area and along the Boulevard (primary sidewalks and tree areas).   The WHNA has approved an expenditure for the purchase of mulch to be spread around the crepe myrtles on Forest Hill and in other areas, which are in need.   We will meet next Saturday, July 18th from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm to work on these areas.   We are sending you this message because we could use a hand from our neighborhood volunteers.

For now, if you are willing to assist us as a volunteer, please email: robert.kelly@dom.com .  Because of the short window of time, we are organizing things somewhat on the fly.  We can use whatever time which you can provide (minimum of two hours) during the 7:00 am and 1:00 pm window of time next Saturday.  Please respond only if you can help us next Saturday. Simply delete this message if you are not in the position to assist us at this time.

By Tuesday, I will provide more details (meeting place, what to bring, etc.) via another message to only those who respond that they will assist us next Saturday.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration

Robert Kelly

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
