We’re looking for a new advertising manager for the RAG

WHNA is looking for a computer-savvy volunteer with some organizational skills to handle advertising for our newsletter!
Richard Watson, who has ably served as Advertising Manager for over 15 years, is ready to “retire” from the post. But he stands ready to help a new volunteer. This is a great opportunity for someone to get more involved in the neighborhood association!
What does the Ad manager do? For each of the four or five RAG issues each year, the ad manager notifies advertisers of deadlines, receives the ads, forwards ads to the RAG editor, collects advertising revenue, and follows up with advertisers. Most of the work is done via email. Advertisers usually submit their ads electronically but occasionally it’s necessary to scan paper ads or use Photoshop to create or resize an ad for a customer.
Can you help? If you think you’re interested, please contact WHNA President Rich Meagher or Vice President Bryce Lyle. Feel free to contact Richard Watson to find out more about the job.

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
