Volunteers needed for April 4 community garden work day

The community garden taking shape at the south end of Westover Hills Elementary School needs volunteers for a work day April 4. Just offer an hour or so to come down and plant seeds, anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The garden project team has procured seeds and materials, so all you need to bring are some gloves.  The weather should be beautiful!  No signup necessary!  The project is sponsored by the Westover Hills Elementary PTA in conjunction with surrounding neighborhoods. For more info, contact Zachary Simonelli.

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
