Hello neighbors – I hope you are staying well and enjoying summer. In lieu of an in-person WHNA meeting, below are brief updates from City Council, House of Delegates, School Board, and WHNA.

We typically don’t have a WHNA August meeting, but we will continue to keep you up-to-date by email and social media.

As you know, we’ve canceled several neighborhood events due to COVID-19 safety concerns. We’re sad to announce that the Fourth of July Children’s Parade will not be held this year. Fireworks have been moved to the Diamond, so Riverside Drive will not be closed to traffic.

Stay safe and we’ll be back to doing fun, neighborhood events again soon.
