The next event in the popular summer music concert series, “Music in the Park,” will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, in Forest Hill Park. The concert features the African Jazz Funk of Hotel X. The rest of the line-up includes:
August 9 (6 to 8 p.m.): Mighty Joshua & Zion #5 Band (Reggae)
September 6 (5 to 7 p.m.): Elana Lisa and the Hot Mess (Hot Jazz and Swing)
October 4 (5 to 7 p.m.): New Misty Centrals (Folk-Pop & Rock)
The series is brought to you by the Westover Hills, Forest Hill, and Woodland Heights Neighborhood Associations, Grow RVA, Relay Foods, the City of Richmond Parks and Recreation, and Kathy Graziano.
