Leaf collection scheduled for Dec 19-30

The city of Richmond’s annual vacuum leaf collection program  is scheduled for December 10 through December 30 in Westover Hills. When signs for vacuum collection are posted, be sure to rake your leaves to the property line adjacent to the street, but not into the street or culvert. Please don’t include dirt, rocks, or other debris in leaf piles.

A special city Neighborhood Leaf Cleanup event is scheduled for Westover Hills on on Saturday, December 10.  The city will pick up as many as 20 bags of leaves from each home from  9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The leaves must be bagged and ready for removal when city trucks arrive.

Vacuum leaf collection often gets cancelled or rescheduled because of inclement weather, but you can keep up latest info by calling the Leaf Hotline at 646-LEAF or visiting www.RichmondGov.com
