Hop right into the library’s Summer Reading Program

If you haven’t started the Summer Reading Program at at the Westover Hills Branch Library, there is still time. The program is very simple this year – just write down the titles that you read and bring to the library when the log is full. That’s it – no online registration, no hoops to jump through, read any titles that you’d like. All kiddos and teens earn a free book and a bag for completing – pick up at the library – and adults win a free book from the Friends of the Library book sale. Anyone who finishes is entered to win a grand prize, which range from Museum memberships to putt putt tickets. You can even print the log that you need at home, just click here.

The finale to the Summer Reading Program will be held at the Westover Hills branch Library on Saturday, August 12, from 2 to 4 p.m.  There’ll be drop-in crafts, snacks and more. Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult.

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
