Hats off to newsletter Ad Manager Richard Watson!

Many thanks to Richard Watson, who has served as Advertising Manager for WHNA’s newsletter for more than 15 years –and has done a tremendous job with it. The newsletter had very little advertising when Richard started volunteering on the RAG. Through outreach to area business and continuous “care and feeding” of advertisers, he successfully built the newsletter’s advertising base to the extent that now the RAG pays for itself.
Richard is one of those exceptional behind-the-scenes Westover Hills volunteers whose work makes a huge difference! It will be hard to fill his shoes now that he is “retiring” as Ad Manager. Fortunately he has agreed to continue in the job until WHNA finds a new volunteer. Richard, hats off to you for your outstanding service to the neighborhood association!

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
