Find out more about the city’s Reedy Creek restoration project

The Reedy Creek Coalition has raised concerns about the city’s plan to restore a portion of Reedy Creek in a $1.2 million project.  Find out more about the project at the Reedy Creek Coalition’s meeting on Wednesday, May 11, at the Westover Hills Library at 6:30 p.m.  The coalition is also hosting  site visits & watershed tours  to help others understand the scope of the what it considers ill-advised stream restoration.  The next tour is Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. To sign up for the tour, click here.

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
