Biodegradable Bag Give-Away Back by Popular Demand

The Department of Public Works is hosting a second biodegradable bag give-away from City residents who bag their leaves. The give-away is scheduled for Sunday, December 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Byrd Park Roundhouse, 621 Westover Road.

Bags are available while supplies last, up to 5 bags per resident, and proof of residency is required.

About the WHNA

Since 1978, the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association has worked to preserve, protect, and improve the quality of life in Westover Hills, a thriving community established in southwest Richmond in 1924. The Westover Hills Neighborhood Association offers a forum for residents to share new ideas and provides a unified voice for residents when communicating concerns and requests to city officials. Meetings, when they can safely resume, are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to all neighbors.
